Developing intelligence for smarter, sustainable energy.

Wind turbines on green hills

Intelligence for the next generation of wind operations.

OpenTurbine brings together operational data, advanced machine learning algorithms, fleet intelligence and weather forecasts in one focused system. It gives renewable energy teams a clearer understanding of asset performance, emerging risk, and opportunities to improve generation.

How it works

Built for modern wind operations

Use the data your organization already collects.

OpenTurbine applies advanced models to help teams move from data to informed action.

How it works

Performance optimization

Understand how assets are performing and identify opportunities to improve energy generation across the fleet.

Predictive insights

Recognize emerging equipment issues earlier, enabling better maintenance planning and more confident operational decisions.

Operational intelligence

Bring performance, condition, and fleet data into one decision-ready view for operations, engineering, and asset-management teams.

Value-based prioritization

Connect operational findings to their potential energy and business impact, helping teams focus on what matters most.

From operational data to informed action.

OpenTurbine is designed to work with existing wind operations - without adding complexity to the assets themselves.

  1. Connect your data

Bring together the operational data already available across your sites and fleets.

    • No new hardware required
    • No controller changes
  2. Apply AI

OpenTurbine uses advanced machine-learning models to understand real-time performance, operating patterns, weather forecasts, and changing asset behavior.

    • Asset-level analysis
    • Fleet-wide context
  3. Identify what matters

Surface performance opportunities, emerging equipment concerns, and operational signals that merit attention.

    • Clearer performance visibility
    • Earlier operational insight
  4. Support better decisions

Give teams a prioritized view of where to focus, with the context needed to evaluate next steps.

    • Operational impact
    • Evidence for action

Built for more confident operations.

OpenTurbine is not another system to monitor. It is an intelligence layer that helps teams focus on the highest-value opportunities across performance, maintenance, and fleet operations.

Sustainable energy depends on smarter operations.

Improving the performance of renewable assets already in operation supports a more efficient, resilient energy system. OpenTurbine helps teams get more insight from the infrastructure they manage today.

One view across sites, manufacturers, and turbine models

Clearer evidence behind operational decisions

One intelligence layer for every wind environment.

OpenTurbine supports renewable energy companies across onshore and offshore operations, adapting intelligence to the different priorities of each environment.

Onshore wind operators

Onshore fleets require consistent visibility across many assets, sites, and operating conditions. OpenTurbine helps teams understand fleet performance, identify opportunities, and prioritize actions with greater clarity.

  • Fleet-wide performance intelligence
  • Earlier visibility into asset behavior
  • Built around existing operational data

Offshore operators and portfolio owners

Offshore operations require careful planning, strong evidence, and clear prioritization. OpenTurbine helps teams assess performance and operational risk across complex, high-value assets.

  • Better-informed maintenance planning
  • Unified visibility across diverse fleets
  • Intelligence to support asset-management decisions

Questions operators ask first.

If a question is not answered here, a short call will settle it faster than a form.

What data is required?

The ten-minute SCADA history the turbines already write: power, wind speed and direction, nacelle position, pitch angle, and whichever temperature and vibration channels the turbine model exposes. A single export covering twelve months is sufficient for a first assessment.

Does anything need to be installed on the turbines?

No. There is no new hardware, no change to the control system, and nothing requiring certification with the original equipment manufacturer. That constraint is deliberate: anything that touches the machine converts a data question into a warranty conversation.

How does OpenTurbine differ from a manufacturer portal?

A manufacturer's portal reports what a turbine did against its own specification. OpenTurbine compares each machine against comparable units operating in the same conditions, which is what identifies a turbine that is technically healthy and still producing below the fleet.

Does it work across mixed fleets?

Yes, and a mixed fleet is usually the reason to adopt it. The models are fitted per turbine, so a portfolio running two manufacturers and three rotor diameters is assessed on one scale instead of through three separate portals.

How is operational data handled?

It remains yours. It is not pooled with data from other operators and it is not used to train models that serve anyone else. The commercial agreement states this in writing before any export is transferred.

How long before there are results?

An assessment on twelve months of history is measured in days rather than as a deployment project. The deliverable is a ranked set of findings with the annual energy and revenue attached to each one.
